Making your own homemade Italian turkey sausage is easier than ever with my simplified 5-ingredient recipe. Thanks to the magic of Italian seasoning, you can whip up a flavorful, homemade sausage in no time—perfect for adding a gourmet touch to your favorite dishes without the packaged counterpart filled with preservatives.
Add 1-pound ground turkey to a skillet, along with the spices.
Brown the meat, breaking it up into a crumble consistency, so that all the spices mix well into the meat. You can mix the spices into the meat before cooking it, but I find that I don't ever have the time to add that step.
Once the meat is cooked all the way through and no pink is visible in the meat, add the Italian sausage to your favorite dish.
