Basil Balsamic Vinaigrette

I love having quick, cheap, and easy marinades that I can throw together in my mini food processor for a delicious way to amp-up the flavor on my meat and vegetables. But not just that, if it can double as the perfect all-purpose salad dressing too, then I’m sure to have a winner!!!!
As Spring turns to summer, I’m sure you all have basil growing in your garden, as it is one very popular herb to keep on hand, this is a great way to use it up.

Simply add all the ingredients to your food processor, and blend until well combined. Store in a jar for 4-5 days. If you choose to store in the refrigerator, the oil with solidify a bit, but just bring it to room temperature before using.

If you have a lot of herbs in your garden, try adding fresh oregano to the blender as well. It’s amazing!
This is the PERFECT marinade for chicken, tri-tip, steaks, pork chops, and delicious to also dip bread into. It’s just delicious!!! Also, try it on a summer salad with strawberries, cucumbers, candied almonds, and grilled chicken.
