Apple Pie Pancake Syrup
Apple Pie Pancake Syrup
Last week we had a pantry challenge. Before going to the grocery store, plan 3 meals (dinners) that you can make with food you already own. Well, easier said than done! So I planned my 3 meals, but the day we decided to have pancakes, bacon and eggs, I realized I had NO SYRUP!
Well, my mind started wondering, what was I going to do? I had no berries, but I had 1 apple and apple juice in the fridge. So I whipped up this easy sauce, and my family loved it! If you are needing syrup for pancakes, or just want to try something new, give this recipe a try. It’s cheap, easy, and full of flavor!
This syrup is also really good on yogurt with granola, and even on vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

- While that is boiling, whisk together the remaining 1/2 cup of apple juice with the corn starch, set aside.
